DISCOUNTS: 10% off multi-class discount 10% off sibling discount $20 off for each friend you refer who registers for a class Bowed Boot Camp I 1 week $125 June 21-25 M W Th F 3:30-5:00pm Tuesday, June 22, 3:00-4:30 Open to Violinists, Violists and Cellists This course will give an introduction and overview of some intermediate bowed string techniques including harmonics, tremolo, trills, double stops and will introduce tips to navigate less familiar time signatures and rhythms. Prerequisite: In general students must be able to play D major and G major scales and should have taken private lessons for at least two years. Some exceptions may apply. Contact us to learn more. Bowed Boot Camp II 1 Week $125 July 12-16 M-F 6:30-8:00 Open to Violin, viola, cello This course will pick up where Bowed Boot Camp I left off! This class will expand on the ornaments we learned in the last class, will introduce some more complex time signatures and expanded bowing techniques. Prerequisite: Must have taken Bowed Boot Camp I All educational materials for class will be provided. This may include mp3s and PDFs.

Odd Times 1 Week $100 July 26-30 M-F 11:30am-12:30pm Open to all instrumentalists Welcome to the weird and wacky world of time signatures! We are so used to playing in 3/4 and 4/4 time but this class will introduce music with 5 beats and 7 beats per measure. I will introduce the rhythms with clapping and tapping to make it easier to play afterwards. Playing in odd times is really fun and with this class you’ll learn to love it and play some simple tunes in many different time signatures. Prerequisite: Must have played your instrument for a minimum of 1 year, be able to play a G major scale and have a metronome that you can use during class.
